Administer and manage master data within the ERP system related to the internal governance rules and processes
Researches and resolves master data issues. Identifies areas for data quality improvements and helps to resolve data quality through error detection, correction, process control and improvement, or process design strategies
Prepares and analyzes data. This can include locating, profiling, cleansing, extracting, mapping, importing, transforming, validating or modeling
Enforces data governance rules in order to maintain data integrity and quality
Communicates effectively and timely with internal and external stakeholders.
Performing data audits to identify problem areas & implementing strategies to optimize data integrity and process improvements
Provide support to newer team members and collaborate with team members on resolutions to data provider challenges
Seek and adopt best practices in data reporting, make recommendations for data processing improvements. Identify opportunities to improve the process and data accuracy
Standardizes and cleanses raw data using predefined rules as well as establishing new rules as needed
Perform analytical research to identify and resolve routine data issues affecting customer data sets and services. Responsible for identifying the nature of data issues and develop solutions to resolve the issues
Uses knowledge of business objectives, strategies, and needs to identify opportunities where data can be leveraged to achieve the desired business benefits
Other Duties: Performs other duties and special projects as assigned and directed.
Experience and Education Requirements:
BS/BA in business, management or related field preferred
3+ years of relevant job experience with ERP and J.D. Edwards
Proficient in a variety of applications such as Microsoft Access, Excel, Word and Power Point
Experience in manufacturers or distribution companies, including GPOs and IDNs
Experience with JD Edwards reporting tools, such and data warehouse environments
Minimum of 2 years of experience in analytics and customer master data
Preferred Skills:
Working knowledge of Vistex, EDI, Power Bi
Quick learner, with the ability to see the "big picture" and understand data inputs and outputs.
Ability to work independently, with little or no direction.
Think strategically, recognizing the inputs and outputs of systems and business processes.
Strong verbal and written communication skills, with a focus on customer service
