DescriptionWe are seeking candidates with passion for data and solving complex problems when given considerable latitude for using innovative approaches to create compelling visual stories.You will be part of a growing team in a highly collaborative environment working with incredible volumes of data to uncover insights, working closely with business intelligence leaders, data scientist, data engineers, clinicians, the finance team and other key leaders and stakeholders at both national and market level.Be a thought leader and influencer for data driven decisions using several analytics tools for reporting and creating meaningful data visualizations that discover new opportunities.The ideal candidate will be an inquisitive learner with a passion for analytics who can easily & effectively collaborate with stakeholders across all functional areas to review and optimize reporting, analytics, and data enablement all while aligning to corporate objectives.ResponsibilitiesTranslate complex business requirements into scalable technical solutions, and design, develop, implement and maintain dashboards or visualization solution

Build interactive and complex data visualizations using complex datasets from different sources

Implement best practices to ensure visualizations and dashboards design is consistent and provide best user experience

Develop data models and reports/visualizations based on technical specs

Rapidly develop creative prototypes for new products

Develop personas to influence report design

Use data visuals to tell stories that informs the who, what, when, where, and how to be able to understand our members and the key factor driving the cost and health outcomes

Develop visualizations utilizing traditional proven graphics as well as innovative graphics concepts

Advance corporate goals, promote a data-oriented culture through insight generation

Support ad-hoc analysis as required to aid management decision making and business planning

Play a central role in advancing data enablement and data literacy programs across a wide variety of stakeholders and use cases.

Required QualificationsBachelor's degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Engineering and/or related field

3 or more years of professional experience performing data analytics and building user interfaces, visualizations, and data algorithms

Ability to think strategically and communicate data-driven insights by transforming science and numbers into easily understandable visualization is desirable

Expertise in visualization methods such as infographics, dashboards, bubble cloud, scatter plot, treeMap, heatmap, density design

Ability to articulate your design decisions to a variety of technical and non-technical audiences.

Foundational knowledge of information architecture, interaction design, design ideation and iteration, and human centered design methods.

Experience creating and coding complex data interfaces

Proficient in programming languages such as Python or R, SQL, PSQL

Proficiency in dashboarding tools such as is Tableau, PoweBI

Experience with data manipulation using tools such as Hadoop, Spark, Databricks

Deep experience in data mining, predictive modeling techniques and experience with reporting and creating metrics for management

Fast learner with high attention to detail and possess a passion for data, data quality & business analytics.

Excellent communication & interpersonal skills to utilize data to tell a story.

Experience taking complex data and making it more accessible, understandable and usable for leaders to derive insights

Flexible, dynamic personality who works well in a team environment and can lead a team

Preferred QualificationsMaster's degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Engineering and/or related field

Healthcare or managed care experience

Experience with data extraction and analysis technologies such as SAS, SPSS, QlikView

2 or more years of technical project lead

Agile methodology experience
