Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain an enterprise observability platform to alert key stakeholders of service degradation
• Respond to alerts of service availability and performance degradation
• Maintain OS level resources such as CPU, memory, and disk storage ensuring systems remain performant and available
• Participate in design and engineering of applications to ensure resiliency
• Travel requirements: 10% travel as needed to other offices and data centers for team building or maintenance
• Perform other duties and responsibilities as required, assigned, or requested.

Qualifications

• BS in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience
• 2+ years experience in systems administration, IT operations, engineering, DevOps, or similar
• Experienced with at least one scripting language such as Bash, Powershell, Python
• Experienced with automation tools such as Ansible
• Advanced Experienced with both Linux and Windows Server Operating systems.
• Experience of common network protocols and their usage (smtp, ntp, ldap, AD)
• Experienced with IIS/Apache/Tomcat/Kafka/Kubernetes
• Experienced in at least one Cloud Service Provider
• Experienced with Systems monitoring tools
