Maven Group, LLC is a 5 year old company located in Chattanooga, TN that provides a variety of residential and commercial concrete and drainage services to the Southeast. Our project values range from $5,000.00 to $250,000.00 with turnover greater than 150 per year making timely and efficient startup and closeout a major focus for this position. We are currently accepting applicants for our Concrete Foreman position.

Duties & Responsibilities
Coordinate all subcontractors and oversee the day-to-day activities of concrete crew, including scheduling, inspections, quality control, safety, equipment operation, and accountability for all project completion time tables.
Work closely with Project Management for plan specs, permits, plan/project checklists, and obtain all necessary approvals for modifications of scope and change orders.
Ability to manage a crew of 5 or more employees.
Knowledge of concrete slabs, walkways, patios, driveways, steps and the ability to form driveways, slabs, walkways, patios, steps and finishing work/site prep.
Direct subcontractors and subordinates.
Provide periodic electronic reporting and scheduling updates.
Ability to effectively identify concrete mixes and determine required equipment, tools and procedures
Understand and implement OSHA safety requirements site wide.
Knowledgeable of SWPPP requirements site wide and mitigate any impact to the outlying community.
Proficiency in operation of assorted heavy equipment, especially in achieving proper grade & alignment.
Must be willing to travel as required by location of project.
Required Experience, Skills, and Certifications
Minimum 5 years experience in concrete forming, placing, and finishing
Minimum 2 years concrete foreman experience.
Experience working with city, government, and other inspectors on construction projects.
Frequently lifting, carrying, pushing, and pulling up to 50 pounds and lifting up to 90 pounds of material with assistance, if requested.
Proficient with mechanical & manual placing and finishing methods & equipment
Detail-oriented
Proficiency in Microsoft Word & Excel
Excellent written and verbal communication.
Valid drivers license with good motor vehicle record.
Preferred Experience, Education, Skills, and Certifications
College degree (ideal concentration: Construction Management)
ACI Flatwork Finisher & Technician Certification
TN Erosion Prevention & Sediment Control Level 1
OSHA 10 Hour Construction Safety Training
OSHA 30 Hour Construction Safety Training
High School Diploma or Equivalent
