Byrd Surveying, Inc. is a mid-size land surveying firm located in Tennessee, offering professional surveying services in the middle Tennessee area. We are seeking enthusiastic, aggressive candidates for our field operations. The successful candidate must be motivated by personal interest and pride in the work they do. The tasks assigned will take place in a varied outdoor environment that will include construction sites, residential and commercial areas as well as the possibility of forested and undeveloped regions. Applicants that enjoy being in an outside office setting will definitely be attracted to this field position.
Experience in land surveying or construction is desirable but not required. Byrd Surveying will train the right individual to utilize our state of the art surveying equipment, including robotic instruments, GPS equipment's, handheld computers and other advanced gear. We understand that many potential candidates will not possess the expertise to conduct the work required, in addition, on the job training will be an integral part of the candidate's instruction. They will achieve a complete understanding of the procedures, as well as the art of surveying, which is required for conducting the field work to obtain accurate and professional results.
An absolute requirement for the successful candidate will be the possession of a two or four-year degree from a college or university. The candidates demonstrated ability to acquire a degree is an indication of the drive and interest of that person and is a quality we seek.
