Continental Expedited Services, Inc has an opening for a general HR person that would fill multiple roles.
Under general supervision, provide multiple human resources services in support of our organization.
Responsible for daily transactions, recruitment, benefits, training and other human resource functions.
Engage in conflict resolution and manage employee complaints. .
Coordinates employee performance and appraisal programs.
Ensure organizational compliance with federal and state laws, including reporting requirements.
Identify current and prospective staffing requirements, prepares and posts notices and advertisements, and collects and screens applications.
Provide information and advice to employees, supervisors and managers regarding employee relation issues
Create job postings, utilizing different sources (job fairs, etc) and other tools to recruit for a variety of roles
Manage applicant tracking system
Manage new hires with on-boarding tasks and collecting, filing, organizing docs.
Backup for Payroll, Collections, and other duties
Assist the CEO with various assignments
Must be fluent with MS Office
Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university OR 2 years of human resource experience is mandatory
Must possess the ability to maintain strict level of objectivity and confidentiality
