If you are an experienced Assistant Community Manager, detail oriented and love working with people, then our assistant community manager position is perfect for you. As the second-in-command under the community manager, you're in charge of keeping all resident files up-to-date, collecting rents, dealing with delinquencies, reviewing and preparing and delivering legal and formal documents. You'll also assist with the turnover process with new leases and lease renewals of existing residents.

Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities:

• Greets, assists, and lease to prospective residents who enter the community

• Assist in efforts to maximize rental income and high occupancy through sales and marketing plans

• Show, lease and move in prospective residents

• Receive and collect all rental payments in accordance with company standards

• Maintain all resident's files, ensuring completeness and accuracy of all paperwork and documentation

• Review deposit accounts and complete resident's move out statements

• Manage the properties delinquency and ensure it is within company policy

• Prepare formal notices including but not limited to late notices, term notices and violation notices

• Manage the properties renewal notices

• Utilize management software (Onesite) to process resident and prospect activity

• Manage collections and eviction proceedings
