DescriptionAccountemps is looking for a methodical and well-organized Billing Clerk who has demonstrated an eye for detail. Based in the Cordova, Tennessee area, this is a long-term temporary Billing Clerk opportunity. In this position, the Billing Clerk is responsible for reviewing bills and performing data entry into spreadsheets and accounting software. Review, evaluate, and process bills or invoices for services rendered
Work closely with other functional teams to ensure data quality and consistency
Evaluate billing documents and other data for accuracy and completeness, obtain missing or correct data when necessary
Construct financial procedures and controls
Requirements
Customer invoices experience desired
Experience with Oracle
Deep understanding of Billing Collection
Proven knowledge of Microsoft Excel
Knowledge of billing
Foundational knowledge in commercial collections
Prior experience working with spreadsheets, internet applications and ERP systems
Ability to enter data into various electronic systems while maintaining the integrity and accuracy of the data
Strong communication skills and able to receive criticism well
Bachelor's (BA/BS) degree in accounting or finance
