CPA Firm seeking PART-TIME, YEAR ROUND Accountant 2-4 days/week
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Experienced in preparation of 1120, 1120S, 1065, and Personal 1040
Tax Returns
Monthly Financial Statements for multiple clients
Bank Reconciliations
Process live payrolls
Journal Entries
Monthly Sales Tax Returns
Other duties and responsibilities as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS:
Must have the ability to work in a confidential work environment with sensitive information.
Must be organized and detail-oriented
Associate's Degree in accounting required (may be substituted with two to three years relevant accounting and tax experience)
Must thrive in a deadline oriented environment
Ability to be flexible in schedule and adaptable to constant change
Outstanding client communication skills
Ability to prioritize, work independently, and manage simultaneous assignments
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Ability to effectively handle multiple tasks and frequent interruptions
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Quickbooks Desktop/Online required
