Working alongside experienced safety professionals, you'll contribute to initiatives that help create a safer workplace across our organization. In this role, you will be an integral part of our Safety team. Your key responsibility will be to support the development and enhancement of safety programs, procedures, and policies designed to reduce risk and improve operational safety. You will collaborate with teams across the business, analyze information gathered through observations and audits, and help create solutions that strengthen Pilot's safety culture. This internship is not only an opportunity to learn the practical application of safety principles but also a chance to grow within a supportive team that is dedicated to developing its people. What You’ll Do Support safety program development: Assist with the creation and enhancement of safety programs, procedures, and policies designed to reduce risk and promote safe operations. Gather and analyze safety data: Work with inspection, audit, and operational data to identify trends, support leading indicators, and help inform future safety initiatives. Develop safety solutions: Research workplace risks and hazards, observe operational practices, and help create procedures and recommendations that improve safety performance. Collaborate with business partners: Work closely with Retail Operations, Energy Operations, and other stakeholders to understand safety needs and support continuous improvement efforts. Create and deliver presentations: Develop PowerPoint presentations, one-page safety communications, and other materials used to educate and engage operational teams on safety initiatives.
