Smoky Mountain Animal Clinic is in need of a caring professional who can take care of our clients and their pets.
Experience preferred but not required to apply. We are looking for someone who takes pride in a job well done.
Receptionist:
Greeting clients, taking phone calls and emails, making appointments using veterinary software, handling invoices and collecting payment. Inventory, stocking and cleaning also vital to the job. Need to be able to type and utilize a PC and a smart phone.
Possible additional duties:
Walking dogs, kennel boarding duties, laundry, restraining pets for procedures or medications, checking clients into exams and surgery, light bathing and lots of poop of course. Janitorial duties for kennel and clinic also expected.

Pay starts at $9/hour if no experience with a merit based raise at 90 days and then yearly raise.
Benefits after 90 days include discounted pet food and vet care. Vacation and holiday pay accrued after 1 year of employment.
Experienced applicants = hourly wage can be negotiated
Unexperienced applicants should still posses basic computer skills and good interpersonal skills - we are happy to do on the job training for veterinary specifics.
