Help Stop the Spread of Meningitis! Volunteer Research Group is currently enrolling healthy adults, ages 18 to 25, for a clinical research study of an investigational Meningitis B vaccine! Qualified participants must attend 10 clinic visits over a one-year period and will receive an investigational Meningitis B vaccine or an FDA-approved vaccine. Compensation up to $1,250.00 is available for time and travel. If you qualify at screening you will be vaccinated & compensated $125 of the above compensation on the day of screening.To participate you must: Be between the ages: 18 - 25 years.
Be generally healthy. No urine drug screen required for this study.
Have no history of Hepatitis B, C, or HIV.
Have no history of meningococcal infection.
Have no allergy to latex.
You must bring a copy of your shot record to screening showing that you have received the meningitis vaccine. Must be the Menactra, Menveo, A,C,W, or Y meningitis vaccine. This will be listed on your shot record. If you do not have a copy, once you schedule an appointment you can have the health department or your doctor fax us a copy at 865-305-9393 and we will verify your vaccinations.
