Looking to hire a warehouse clerk in the Turkey Creek area. We are a small warehouse with only floor and vent fans. It gets hot. Duties will include, but not limited to, picking and preparing stock, daily deliveries in an E-350 van, sweeping, taking out the trash, and organizing stock. You will use carts, lift jacks, and forklift. Once or twice a month you will take a large moving truck no more than 4 hours away (same day away and back). Overall it is a pretty laid back work environment with a focus on accuracy.
COVID
The facility is not open to the public and you will be dealing with less than 10 people per week. You will still be expected to be VERY COVID aware. Daily temperature checks are mandatory for all employees. Social distancing is mandatory inside our facility. Masks are mandatory on delivery sites.
$10/hr M-F 8-5
Required:
Pass on-boarding and on-going drug tests. (Real ones and actual follow up ones).
Tolerate heat. This is a position in a warehouse with no a/c.
Pass insurance checks for driving company vehicles.
Pass background checks for entry badges into secured facilities.
Drive a 26 foot truck. A large size moving truck. No special license needed.
Regularly lift 50 pounds.
Follow directions very precisely
Would be nice
Familiar with forklift operation.
Familiar with computer hardware basics.
Enthusiasm for learning about computers and electronic devices.
