JOB DESCRIPTION

-Summary/Objective

The Service Department Tech provides service and repair for the Knoxville market, customers, and out of market repairs for the IC department, and provides technical support for Sales and IC dept.

-Essential Functions

1. Offer repair estimates and repair options

2. Certify Pre-owned inventory

3. Repair and refurbish devices for customer repairs and IC department

-Physical Demands

The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.

1. Must be able to perform repetitious hand/eye movement.

2. Must be able to sit for long periods of time.

3. Must be able to stand for long periods of time.

4. Must be able to lift up to 15 lbs.

5. Must be able to lift up to 30 lbs.

6. Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.

7. Must be able to use a ladder.

8. Must able to drive and meet the driver approval standards of the company.

This is largely a sedentary role; however, some filing is required. This would require the ability to lift files, open filing cabinets and bend or stand on a stool as necessary.

-Position Type/Expected Hours of Work

This is a full-time position. Days and hours of work are Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

-Required Education and Experience

2-year degree

At least an Associates/Technical Degree or Experience Level Equilavent is ideal for this position.
