We are looking for an exceptional Sr. Database Administrator to join our team.
The selected candidate will become a member of the Tier 2 Application Support team.

Your future duties and responsibilities
• Mentor and lead other DBAs
• Provides DBA support for new and existing implementations in the credit service line including the support of development, non-production and production database environments.
• On-going delivery and operations of managed application services for a global client community.

Required qualifications to be successful in this role
• Ability to mentor and lead other DBAs
• Demonstrated experience in the following

o IT related field -15 years
o Oracle DBA -12 years , including in-depth knowledge of Oracle database internals,
Oracle Cost Based Optimizer, and Oracle Automatic Storage Management (ASM).
o Linux -10 years, including OS Admin level understanding of the operating system
o Application Design and Development (programming) - 5 years of experience
o PL/SQL- 4 years of experience
o Shell Scripting - 3 years of experience
o Version control systems (GIT, SVN) - 5 years of experience
• Database failover strategies - 4 years of experience
• Windows Server - 2 years of experience
• Microsoft SQL Server - 1 year of experience
• MongoDB - 1 year of experience
• Background in Project Management methodologies and/or skill set with experience in managing projects, issues, and milestones.
• PostGres SQL experience a plus.
• Ability to travel on occasion
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Experience making decisions quickly in difficult situations
• Ability to take responsibility/ownership for decisions, seeking advice where appropriate
• Must be located within proximity of a U.S. CGI office

Est. Salary Range (Colorado Only): $107,000-$140,000
