Our company is developing 24 geodesic domes on 17 acres of land in Sevierville, TN. We are planning on placing the domes off of the ridges of the property to give a more guests a picturesque view of the mountains. We will need a mason with experience building foundations on steep slopes. These structures however, will only require concrete footings built off of the ridge and no traditional basement foundation as you see with typical homes build on steep slopes. We will be placing decking on top of the concrete footings for the domes. See photos for an idea of what we are talking about. At this time, we are looking for a mason to offer bids on the project. Labor and materials will be provided.
