Description Use your talents as a Bookkeeper in a newly available position that Robert Half is looking to fill. Do not miss this long-term contract / temporary to hire opportunity to work as a Bookkeeper in the Memphis, Tennessee area.Your responsibilitiesSupervise bookkeeping policies and procedures, along with developing a framework to track financial transactions with an established chart of accounts
Preside over and review general ledger
Review payments received and record deposits
Oversee accounts by verifying, allocating, and posting transactions
Reconcile accounts by rectifying entries
Assemble financial reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing account information
Uphold quality historical records by filing documents Requirements - Proficiency in bi-Monthly Payroll
Solid understanding of Weekly Account Payable
Accounts Receivable (AR) experience required
Month end closings experience preferred
BS Degree in Accounting, Finance or Business Administration preferred
Prior experience working with collections/accounting software
Previous experience as a Bookkeeper preferred
