Key Responsibilities:
Utilize your contacts in the North Carolina market to evaluate and negotiate hospital and large group contracts in compliance with company contract templates, reimbursement structure standards, and other key process controls
Develop a provider network yielding a geographically competitive, broad access, stable network that achieves objectives for unit cost performance, trend management, and produces an affordable and predictable product for customers and business partners
Establish and maintain relationships with providers ensuring the network composition includes an appropriate distribution of provider specialties
Maintain and update the appropriate databases and department tools with current information
Key Competencies:
Hospital and large group network contracting experience in North Carolina
Microsoft SharePoint & Excel proficiency
Excellent negotiation, oral, and written communication skills
Ability to work in a self-directed environment
