Dextrous Robotics has an immediate opportunity for a Software Engineer. This is an exciting opportunity to develop custom, state of the art software for our high-speed robotic manipulation system.
Responsibilities:
Collaborate with hardware and software teams to build the highest quality robotic system product possible
Help institute practices to reduce the time between committing a change to our codebase and that change being deployed
Follow software practices that produce maintainable code, including automated testing, continuous integration, and rigorous code review
Qualifications:
Extensive experience in software development using C, Python, and other languages
Experience working in a Linux-based development environment
Preferred skills:
Experience developing software for robots
Experience with Git
Experience with DevOps tools (bash scripting, Docker, etc.)
Experience with network based IPC mechanisms (ROS, LCM, etc.)
Experience with OpenCV
Familiarity with CUDA or other frameworks for programming GPU or AI hardware accelerators
Experience using neural network libraries (PyTorch, TensorFlow)
