Material Handler

HiTECH Assets is looking for an energetic team player to join us as a Material Handler and work in our warehouse. This job involves unpacking, assessing, and processing IT assets such as laptops, smartphone, tablets, printers, and similar. Job duties and qualifications include those listed below, plus others.
Minimum 1-3 years work experience in a warehouse or manufacturing facility;
Unpack and assess incoming assets for possible resale or recycling, and move assets through our production process with both care and speed;
Engage in inventory activities, labeling assets, and related recordkeeping in ensure that maintain accurate records of assets in production;
Regularly lift, push, carry, and otherwise manipulate assets weighing 25-50 pounds throughout the workday, and must stand, bend, and walk for up to 8 hours at a time;
Read, write, and spell in English, plus communicate and work well with a variety of people using positive, can do attitude;
Work efficiently with computers and basic hand tools, past experience forklift or heavy machinery operation a plus;
High school diploma or GED strongly preferred; and
Interest in ITAD, sustainability, and reduction of electronic waste preferred.
