JOB SUMMARY //

GMR Marketing is hiring reliable, professional, and engaging Brand Ambassadors to join our tobacco nightlife team in the Nashville, TN market. The purpose of the program is to increase brand awareness and complete market research surveys with current tobacco consumers. The main responsibility of the Brand Ambassador is to execute in nightlife venues and will perform promotional activities such as speaking with others about the product, completing surveys, and handing out promotional items.

DATE, TIME, & LOCATION //

This is a 12-week long program starting July 15th and running through October 4th. The program will activate approximately 4 nights per week (typically Thursday-Sunday) between the hours of 8pm-2am.

WHAT YOULL DO //

Represent GMR Marketing and the Tobacco Nightlife Program in a professional manner at all times

Identify problems and potential situations, explore solutions, and recommend action plans

Ability to adapt or evolve with shifting priorities while still meeting or exceeding expected goals

Direct behavior to emphasize the achievement of program, as well as core values of the Program

Develop a path to a desired outcome; conduct all tasks according to instruction

WHAT WE NEED //

Be able to work nights and weekends in a bar/nightlife atmosphere

Be flexible and able to adjust to shifting priorities

Be willing and able to solve problems and improve processes

Be at least 21 years of age or older

Have reliable transportation to get to and from events

Wear required uniform

Attend all mandatory trainings

High school diploma or GED preferred

One-year work experience

Strong Communication, interpersonal, and organization skills are essential, as well as the ability to prioritize and multi-task

Written and conversational knowledge of the English language and grammar

Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
