Job Purpose Responsible to develop, implement and maintain electronic data interchange systems for internal and external use in the company. Troubleshoots issues with the intent to correct/fix problems in a cost-effective and timely manner.
III. Key Accountabilities Responsible for implementation and maintenance of electronic data interchange systems in the company Handles the transfer of electronic documents from one computer application to another in the areas such as purchase orders, transportation and sales. Experience with the full life cycle of Software Development (Planning, Analysis, Design, Development, Testing, Integration, and Support). Extensively worked on ANSI X12 Transactions (850, 846, 856, 830, 855, 861, 862, 940, 810, 814, 820, 856, 990, 824, 812, 212). Hands on experience using EDI Products like Gentran, Gentran Integration Suite, Sterling B2B Integrator, Sterling File Gateway, Sterling Control Center, Sterling Connect Direct. Daily EDI problem solving. Extensive experience in various Business Applications like Finance, Logistics, Distribution, and Retail. Manage Gentran 6.0 EDI server (UNIX) Strong experience in creating maps using MAP EDITOR to convert data from ANSI X12 to XML, SQL, FLAT File, SAP IDoc formats and vice versa. Set up new trading partners & support existing EDI processing Manage multiple & concurrent tasks & work streams with competing priorities Will extract, compile and analyze data Any other duties/responsibilities as assigned by Management IV. Core Competencies Understand and participate in the installation, configuration & troubleshooting processes for EDI associated issues Be able to work independently or as a team player. Detail oriented and organized. Requires advanced level of verbal & written communication skills in English and Korean. Requires knowledge of all protocols like HTTP, HTTPS, VPN, AS2, SFTP and direct FTP FTPS, protocols. Hands on Experience in Migration projects from Gentran/GIS to SI and other applications to Sterling B2B Integrator. Excellent managerial skills, including planning, organizing, and directing work Requires knowledge of all Standards XML/ANSI, EDIFACT Good understanding of Unix Shell and Scripting. Experience troubleshooting EDI/XML/Flat File schema related errors and other integration related issues as part of B2B EDI Production Support Team. Solid Experience in developing Business Process using BPML and GPM. Knowledge of SAP a plus VI. Qualification A bachelor's degree required A bachelor's degree relevant to Computer Science and Information Systems preffered At least 3 to 5 years EDI mapping/analysis experience required 3 years of experience in development and implementation of electronic data interchange (EDI) interfaces.
