The Role

We are seeking a

FullStack Developer to join our Monitoring and Automation group that uses cutting age technology like Robotic Automation, ML, Big Data ecosystem and Cloud to identify and automate potential issues before they occur.

You will have opportunities to be impactful in ensuring that operational issues with critical business systems are detected in a timely manner and drive reduction in MTTR metrics across business divisions. You will have exposure to a range of development technologies and monitoring solutions

Key Responsibilities:
  • Build technical monitoring solutions which integrate timely telemetry from a number of strategic vender monitoring solutions (Orion, Prometheous, Netsout, etc), providing the Firm's operational support teams with timely information with which to make critical operational support decisions
  • Lead cross-functional technical teams to drive the delivery of highly technical monitoring solution
  • Research and integrate new and emerging methodologies and practices with our internal development processes

Qualifications
  • B Sc. Computer Science or related discipline
  • 9+ years application development experience with Java, J2EE, Spring
  • 5+ years of experience with database technologies such as Oracle, Apache Cassandra, Apache Kudu, MongoDb
  • Understanding of Agile and other development processes and methodologies.
  • Must have used on Docker/Kubernetes and should have developed container based applications
  • Must have experience building multithread application
  • Excellent knowledge of design patterns and microservice architecture
  • Excellent verbal & written communication skills and demonstrated ability to collaborate across teams and organizations.


Preferred:

  • In-depth knowledge working with and managing Git (Bitbucket, Github, CodeCommit).
  • 3+ years of experience using messaging technologies, Apache Kafka and IBM MQ.
  • 2+ years of hands on experience with UI technologies like Angular, JS

Experience with scripting languages like Shell, Python, Powershell

Bachelor's degree in computer science engineering or a related discipline, or equivalent work experience required. 10-14 years of experience in software development required; experience in the securities or financial services industry is a plus. Job holder must have understanding interdependencies and business impact of future IT plans. S/he must have prior lead experience selecting and implementing vendor-specific methodologies and prior consulting experience with structured methodologies.
