Nuc Med PET Technologist PRN - 2208651 Job : Radiology/Imaging/Ultrasound Primary Location : TN-Nashville-Vanderbilt Hospital (VUH) Organization : Nuclear Medicine 201492 Shift: : Variable Description Your Role:The Nuc Med PET Tech PRN performs all Nuclear Medicine and /or Pet procedures in accordance with established department policies and procedures to ensure the best possible patient care services are delivered.Key Responsibilities:Reviews radiology exam requests and patient identification to ensure safe, appropriate and cost effective imaging.

Applies broad range of skills to ensure exam is completed timely and meets quality and compliance standards.

Provides appropriate Nuclear Med/PET screening process to patients, staff and self according to prescribed safety standards.

Assists in the orientation and training of new staff.

Basic Qualifications Graduate of an approved discipline specific program (or equivalent experience) and < 1 year relevant experienceLicensure, Certification, and/or Registration (LCR):Licensed Discipline Specific Required

Additional Qualification Information:Certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist or American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)If a recent graduate, new hire must obtain credentialing within one year of being hired.
