Job Description There is an exciting opportunity for a Principal Engineer for a small, but growing startup. This role will be fully remote and can work anywhere throughout the country. This company creates a medical application used by a specific population struggling with diseases like diabetes, high blood pressure, etc. You will work closely with the Head of Engineering, Product teams, and DevOps teams to build out a greenfield application that will track patient data for predictive analysis. The backend of this platform is developed in Java, Go, Spring Boot, and hosted in Amazon Web Services (AWS). You will be deploying your own code using Docker and Kubernetes, as well as developing Microservices. You will need to be experienced with event-driven architecture and building APIs from scratch. They are also looking for someone with experience using Infrastructure as Code tools like Terraform.
