Position DescriptionWhat makes a fantastic Sales Executive, Sports vertical within Fiserv?As an Sales Executive, Sports within Fiserv ( formerly First Data ), you will provide strategic and consultative management for a portfolio of existing and new clients across the sports vertical, including, but not limited to:

Professional Sports teams – Major and Minor Leagues

Venues – stadiums, arenas, convention centers, etc.

Non-team sports (i.e. golf, auto racing, etc.)

Collegiate and amateur athletics (i.e. AAU)

Ticketing companies

Concession/Food Service Companies

Gymnasiums, Fitness Clubs, etc.

Youth Sports, Outdoor Events, etc.

Ski/Golf Resorts

You must have a proven record of accomplishment opening new accounts and driving complex solutions sales and revenue growth with existing accounts. In this role, you will need to align prospects vision and requirements with Fiserv solutions portfolio to deliver differentiated customer value. As the strategic advisor to the client, you need to have an in-depth understanding of the clients business, goals, strategies as well as industry trends and directions. In this role you are focused on helping clients grow their business leading large, multi-disciplined project teams, and integrating a broad set of innovative payment and technology solutions in complex client environments.As the strategic advisor to new and prospective clients, this individual must have an in-depth understanding of the client’s business, goals, strategies and industry trends and directions as well as Fiserv solutions that address their requirements.To be successful in this role, you will:

Generates new demand, revenue, profit margin and retention for Fiserv with assigned mix of current and new prospect clients in the industry.

Day-to-day point person with responsibility for servicing issues and problem resolution with current and new accounts.

You will conduct regular cadence of communication with the client at all levels and disciplines by effectively articulating the Fiserv value proposition.

Understands and executes effectively the pipeline, forecasting, and commitment to buy process with high degree of accuracy through time to revenue.

Build a business case leading to the submission and presentation to the client a proposal with a set of solutions, business justification and expected results to win the business.

Insures proactive accountability to the client leading to enhanced client experience and retention. Be able to elevate and bring to closure client issues quickly and effectively with a sense of urgency.

Creates a collaborative work environment that motivates individuals and teams to deliver outstanding results

Demonstrates broad perspective and considers multiple aspects of issues and opportunities

Qualifications for consideration:

Previous experience in the Acquiring and/or Payments Industry is required

High School diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor’s degree preferred

7+ years of experience in sales and/or relationship management functions

Prior demonstrated experience with developing and account strategy using clients growth plans, budget and project timelines.

Ability to travel 30%

Preferred Qualifications

Prior experience selling into the Sports industry.

Knowledge of former First Data product offerings.
