CereCore is seeking a Senior Business Product Analyst to join our team Remotely in

Nashville, TN.

Collaborates with Revenue Cycle Point Solutions (RCPS) appropriate line of business to create, support or enhance applications supported by the RCPS IT&S. The person in this role is a crucial member in the systems development lifecycle from discovery to implementation as they work with project team members an operational leaders to define and clarify requirements, design the functional solution, identify and resolve project issues, and ensure the solution meets the intended goals. The Senior Business Product Analyst supports the business owners in all matters related to application enhancements and application issues. The Senior Business Product Analyst is considered to be the subject matter expert and liaison between RCPS IT&S and the business owners.

Responsibilities:

• Leads efforts for new development and new functionality for enterprise applications supported by HCA and RCPS IT&S.

• Serves as liaison between business owners and Development Solutions

• Defines project requirements by identifying milestones and phases

• Creates and maintains application support documentation, including disaster recovery, user provisioning, application functionality and architecture

• Manage and participate in functional, unit and user acceptance testing of business applications including the creation and maintenance of test cases

• Collaborate with operational teams and leaders on

• 25% travel to service centers and/or other facilities for onsite work with project members

• Participates in activities which improve departmental and organizational performance

• Maintains and protects confidentiality with regard to all aspects of patient care

Experience

• Five or more years of relevant experience as business analyst or product analyst on increasingly challenging projects for application development in revenue cycle is preferred

• Successful experiences in understanding end-user business perspectives and translating to create user models, use cases, user interface designs, and business process improvements

• Strong healthcare revenue cycle operational knowledge

• Strong collaboration, facilitation, data analysis and negotiation skills

• Ability to communicate clearly and concisely in a variety of media

• Nice to have: Experience with interfaces from transaction based systems

• Lean Six Sigma desired

• Identifies impact to other solutions or projects, and works with other Product Analysts and stakeholders to identify options and recommendations.

• Provides operational support for applications, supporting the business and other IT areas by providing status and recommending solutions where there are system issues and coordinating resolution of issues with CSS and development

• Supports annual audit reviews (e.g. internal & external audit for application and change control, Sarbanes Oxley, etc.)

• Coordinates and assists in prioritizing new enhancement requests through user story reviews

• Understands the business implications of technology decisions

• Nice to have: experience with software to manage requirements (i.e. Team Foundation Server, Caliber, Microsoft Office)

• Ability to translate IT requirements to business requirements

• Detail oriented

• Ability to create business and IT process flow documentation

Education

• Bachelor's degree in healthcare-related field or business is preferred but not required.
