Responsibilities:
Job Description We are looking for a Node.js Developer responsible for developing a scalable REST API.
Your primary focus will be the development of all server-side logic, ensuring high performance and responsiveness to requests from the front-end. Responsibilities
Work as part of a team developing applications and services using Agile development methods.
Integration of user-facing elements developed by front-end developers with server-side logic.
Writing reusable, testable, and efficient code
Design and implementation of low-latency, high-availability, and performant applications
Integration with backend databases including Oracle and Postgres.
Write Oracle stored procedures and Postgres functions to query data.
Skills and Qualifications
Strong proficiency with Typescript and JavaScript.
Knowledge of Node.js and frameworks available for it. Example Nest.js. Any knowledge on similar framework will be an added advantage.
Understanding the nature of asynchronous programming and its quirks and workarounds
Integration of multiple data sources and databases into one system.
Experience with Oracle PL/SQL and Postgres functions.
Experience in writing unit tests using Jest.
Proficient understanding of code versioning tools, such as Git
