As a Senior Specialist, Compliance Risk and Remediation, you will develop a deep understanding of the processes Lyft has in place necessary to meet its regulatory obligations around the country. You would be a key member of the Compliance Risk & Remediation team responsible for investigating risks in our processes and helping the Compliance team find solutions to plug those gaps. You will work hand in hand with our Compliance team to perform investigations, data driven risk analysis, and document processes. Responsibilities:Manage compliance projects & remediations responsible for Lyft’s TNC compliance across various business lines, functions, systems, and operations

Organize cross-functional activities, ensuring completion of the projects on schedule and within budget constraints

Utilize skillset to innovate on internal processes and Work with the Compliance, Remediation, and Operations teams address gaps in process efficiencies

Partner with key stakeholders to perform compliance risk assessments and quality assurance reviews to identify, evaluate and quantify potential risks across compliance as well as discover solutions for complicated compliance issues, & recommend remediation steps

Identify trends in the data reporting, in order to preemptively improve our compliance systems and processes & deep dives into data to uncover new product and business opportunities

Create accurate and detailed workpapers; outlining testing objectives, results, and conclusions

Collaborate with cross-functional teams including regulatory compliance, legal, policy, operations, and finance. Escalating timely and actionable information to key stakeholders.

Develop metrics for prioritizing audits/investigations and measuring outcomes

Document and optimize processes to make them scalable with Lyft’s growth

Establishes project scopes, kicks off projects, provides ongoing status updates, and post-mortem summaries to management

Develop strong relationships across stakeholder groups, manage requests and ensure key work deliverables are executed effectively, timely, and efficiently

Experience:

A BA or BS in Business or other related discipline

3+ years of experience in an audit, risk, or compliance role with 1 year of project management experience.

Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Ability to analyze and quickly understand processes in order to appropriately determine whether objectives and goals have been met and controls are operating effectively.

Highly organized, detailed-oriented and energetic individual

Ability to multi-task effortlessly and manage competing priorities under demanding deadlines.

Experience working with cross functional teams

Drive to provide accurate results as quickly as possible and continuously iterate.

Self starter, independent and deadline driven.

Demonstrated experience performing risk based reviews in a highly regulated environment

Tech savvy to be able to work with data in SQL and proficient in Google G Suite

Experience with JIRA or similar project tracking/GRC solution experience

Passion for Lyft and the ride-sharing community
