As part of

TSG - Technology Production Services, our Production Services Infrastructure Support Specialist is responsible (and not limited to):
  • Client-Driven: Provides a full IT Service Management lifecycle for Line of Business applications and infrastructure
  • Ensures the Resiliency and Stability of our Production Environment
  • Deliver the bank-s Client connectivity infrastructure & communications technology platform
  • Support and deliver innovative end-user technology solutions

Role Description :
  • Designs, implements, integrates, and provides full support for complex software in a multi-tiered, multi-platform environment.
  • Maintains and supports moderately complex infrastructure environments.
  • Performs complex troubleshooting as a subject matter expert.
  • Works to ensure appropriate monitoring and alerting setup.
  • Leads root cause analysis and problem management for complex problems to address underlying technical issues.
  • Collaborates with business and application development stakeholders.
  • Lead production readiness reviews for new releases and validate the supportability of changes prior to introduction into production.
  • Monitors infrastructure and respond to incidents, perform routine health checks and validations after changes or significant incidents, follows defined procedures for routine, low priority incident resolution.
  • Escalate to second level infrastructure support for new or high priority incidents.
  • May review and execute Change Management scripts.
  • Leads major incident management calls for resolution of high priority incidents.
  • May mentor or provide guidance for junior team members.
  • Contributes to the achievement of area objectives.
  • Diagnose and resolve all levels of hardware, and operating system problems, acting as the primary support person for more than 2000+ Windows server in Banking environment
  • Provide the primary technical expertise for the design and installation of new windows servers on demand.
  • Monitor all system alerts and assist to resolve complex issues in system for windows servers
  • Administer efficient work of servers and system and provide support to everyday operations.
  • Supervise system software processor and prepare upgrade strategies for Windows server.
  • Operating system knowledge - Should be expert at Windows OS and hands on experience. Should be capable of fixing vulnerability reported on these platforms and provide remediation within TTR time.
  • Vulnerability management - Candidate must have good hands on experience on Vulnerability management, to identify the fix based on CV numbers, java and OS related fixes.
  • Good knowledge on VMWare ESX host maintenance and resource management - Memory/CPU/Disk addition/removal.
  • Expertise on Veritas cluster and volume manager products. Configure/upgrade and maintenance of VCS/VXVM.

Preferred Qualification:
  • Ansible knowledge with experience on writing minimum requirement scripts and good knowledge on Ansible Tower handling.
  • Good experience on Shell scripting and python is added advantage.

Requirement:
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related discipline, or equivalent work experience required. Advanced degree is beneficial.
  • 6-10 years of diverse experience in multiple areas of information technology required.
  • Experience in the securities or financial services industry is a plus.
