We have exciting opportunities at our hospitals for medical graduates seeking residency placements. The prospective candidates should be ECFMG certified with competitive scores on USMLEs. The selected candidates will be hired into positions at one of our acute care hospitals to be trained hands-on in various aspects of healthcare/hospital operations including Clinical Documentation Improvement, Medical Coding and Medical Necessity Reviews. We hope these operational insights and experience will make for a better residents and future physicians. Positions are available at our acute care hospitals located in Alabama, California, Florida, Georgia, Indiana, Kansas, Michigan, Missouri, New Jersey, Nevada, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island and Texas.
Job Description:
The position will introduce you to operations of acute care facility where your medical background could be applied (but, does not involve direct patient care). Projects may include concurrent and retrospective chart reviews. Selected candidates will be offered full-time positions, assigned to projects that will build foundations for long-term careers at the hospital level. We are looking for candidates with high aptitude, great communication skills, and satisfactory performance.
Qualifications:
• Must be a medical school graduate that successfully completed the program - do not need to be licensed in US.
• Experience in acute care settings is preferred.
• The position requires assertive personality with strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Candidates with post-graduate education in related field, including public health, are preferred.
