Forklift Operators
Wood Personnel, is currently hiring for Forklift Operators! 1st and 3rd shifts Available!
These positions may turn into a temp-to-hire position for the right candidate. The ideal candidate will be 1+ year experience working with a Reach Truck or Sit-down forklift in a distribution setting.
$16.00 an hour up to $18.75 an hour, depending on Shift

Murfreesboro and Smyrna, TN areas
Compensation and Hours of the Forklift Operators:
1st shift Schedule Option 1 ($16.00 an hour) Sunday-Wednesday (6am-6pm)
1st shift Schedule Option 2 ($16.50 an hour) Wednesday Saturday (6am-6pm)
3rd shift Schedule Option 1 -($17.00 an hour) Sunday Wednesday (6pm 6am)
3rd shift Schedule Option 2 ($18.75 an hour) Wednesday Saturday (6pm 6am)
Requirements for Forklift Operator:
High School Diploma of GED
Experience operating forklifts (Sit down, Stand up or Reach Truck)
Previous experience on the Electric Pallet Jack, a plus.
Responsibilities of the Forklift Operator:
Read and understand fulfillment orders
Work as part of a team on a conveyor belt or assembly line.
Cut and open boxes, pull material and pack each days orders in a timely manner.
Apply shipping labels, stickers and packing lists to boxes.
Stock and restock products in racks
Inspect materials for defects.
Pick, hand collate and insert a variety of printed materials or print related items into packages.
Final assembly of materials into packaged products (coiling/kitting).
Build, close, tape and palletize corrugated boxes.
Verify package contents against pick tickets as part of QC sampling.
Other duties as assigned by management.
