W2 ONLY (Corp-Corp or 1099 will not be accepted by the client) Remote for now may need to come in a few times a month once back to normal Local candidates or candidate who will relocate only JOB DESCRIPTION: Description of Duties: 1. Capture and analyze business requirements for the successful transition of data base designs, data models and supporting schemas that meets the needs of specific objectives – 25% 2. Lead and implement all data base and technical designs and supporting documentation – 25% 3. Leverage Microsoft’s Azure Cloud platform for the implementation and delivery of database deliverables jobs and services – 25% 4. Design, develop, test, and monitor all database changes to meet key quality metrics outlined and defined through collaboration with project and stakeholder team members – 25% Skills and Experience: • 10 years of Database administrator experience in Microsoft technologies. • Experience using Microsoft Azure Cloud platform and services. • Experience writing complex database queries. • Ability to troubleshoot complex database queries using enhanced technologies, tools, and metrics. • Current working knowledge of database theory and design principles. • Knowledge about the RDBMS/No SQL itself, e.g., Microsoft SQL Server or Azure cloud platform, Oracle, Azure Cosmos DB. • Knowledge of structured query language (SQL), e.g., SQL/PSM or Transact-SQL. • Bachelor’s Degree in Science/computer Science • Microsoft Azure certified is preferred but optional. • Experience of working in Agile environment.
