Develops and maintains supplier quality ratings and rejects.

Analyzes and reports to management monthly, quarterly, and annually on these systems.

Contributes to building brand value and achieving enduring profitable growth.

Schedules part functional trials to obtain parts approval from manufacturing plants, PQA, and Engineering; reports trial results to intercompany departments.

Ensures databases are updated by various departments for supplier quality ratings data; prepares quarterly data sheets of supplier ratings to notify suppliers of their performance; prepares year-end report of quarterly quality ratings to present supplier quality awards.

Works with Purchasing Department to coordinate supplier approvals for local and global parts sourcing; obtain candidate supplier lists and distribute to management for approvals and issues

Reports approvals and issues to Purchasing Department. Coordinates sample inspection report SIR reporting

Develops programs to upload manual entries on SIR approval dates to Parts Arrangements mainframe session local parts tracking report LPTR

Generates reports to management for parts approval status.

Coordinates parts per million PPM goals and objectives for suppliers

Compiles monthly supplier PPM results and prepares reports for management and Parts Inspection.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

Bachelors Degree in Engineering

1 year experience

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Knowledge of mainframe, parts arrangement, warranty, inventory control and purchasing systems.

Ability to use PC based software to modify, and develop programs for warranty and specialized reporting.
