Responsible for initial translation of customer needs (internal or external) as communicated by process partners into product technical specifications and design objectives.
Creates specifications relative to assigned project utilizing inputs from Product Line, Marketing, Design, Usability, Quality, etc.
Translates input to technical specifications used by design engineers to achieve results
Creates, releases, and maintains specifications based on these global requirements that will drive a common implementation across all regions.
Participates in Technical Design Previews to provide guidance on direction and test plan validation.
Assists design teams with DFMEA development as systems subject matter expert

To work in system team to define and finalize the system requirements
Should be able to handle a team of 2-3 resource at offshore writing the specification
Should be able to develop / review a test plan at system level
Proactive thinking at system level involving Electronics and Mechanical
Should be able to convert user requirements / stories into technical requirement
Must be able to document the technical requirements and specifications
Should be able to break the complex requirement / user stories into a list of simple requirement to be implemented
Should have experience on GUI, Screen Navigations
A good understanding of HW at system level is highly desirable
Any exposure or understanding of mechanical structure at system level will be a Plus
experience in handling medium to complex level embedded system is required
