We are currently seeking an Environmental Warehouse Supervisor to oversee all warehouse activities and ensure they are all completed in a safe, efficient, and cost effective manner. This is a full-time, permanent position.
Responsibilities Include:
ï§ Plan, organize, supervise and participate in daily warehouse operation and activities, including the disposal of hazardous and solid wastes, documentation of activities, safety and distribution of equipment and supplies as well as inventory of materials.
ï§ Maintain goals and standards in regard to productivity levels and quality of work to meet the expectations of both management and customers.
ï§ Act in a leadership capacity to motivate employees and promote a safe work environment.
ï§ Focus on continuous process improvement to remain at peak efficiency.
ï§ Track and maintain accuracy of reported data and current reports.
ï§ Establish and enforce all warehouse standards and procedures.
Qualifications:
ï§ 40 hour -Haz-woper Certification
ï§ Have knowledge of handling/disposal of both hazardous and solid wastes.
ï§ 5+ years of experience working in a warehouse management role is required.
ï§ Must have great communications, computer literate, as well as organization skills.
ï§ Ability to obtain a VA solid waste operators license.
