Job Description

We are currently hiring for a

Growth & Strategy Analyst responsible for collecting and deciphering data and business information to gain insights on trends impacting the JumpCrew business. In this capacity, the candidate will be intimately involved with leveraging these insights to help the company chart a course for growth going forward.

Further, this candidate will be a partner to the Chief Strategy Officer in all needs surrounding corporate development, and our overall inorganic growth plans. This may include the process of selling assets, and/or due diligence work for potential acquisitions of new properties, or supporting technologies.

This candidate may also be tapped directly by our CEO for mission-critical and/or time-sensitive projects impacting the business.

In direct support of our newly hired CSO, this is a new and critical role for the company. At this pivotal inflection point in our company's lifecycle, providing analytical and fact-based business information to our senior leaders is an integral piece of the operating equation.

Our ideal candidate is someone who has a proven aptitude in business planning, and financial analysis, while working in a fast-paced entrepreneurial environment. We would want to see a level of intellectual curiosity when it comes to macro-business issues and trends, all while having a deep focus and comfort level with business performance; working with sales KPIs, handling large data sets, strong visualization skills, and ability to clearly communicate observations and results.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct research to analyze market dynamics, industry trends, and competitive landscape, and prepare reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing data
  • Taking raw, heavy sales data finding similarities and missing insights correlated to training/ management
  • Make recommendations on sales tactics and product strategy to enable JumpCrew to win in the market.
  • Supporting financial models including the global long-term P&L and cash flow forecasts
  • Researching, developing, and implementing data-gathering methods
  • Analyze and report: organizational and workforce analytical assessments; sales growth through customer and salesforce analytics
  • Storytelling using Salesforce business data and predictive analytics tools
  • Evaluating the effectiveness of implemented strategies.
  • Serving as a liaison between stakeholders and users.
  • Financial analysis and forecasting
  • M&A due diligence
  • Financial valuation modeling

Qualifications

  • 2-4 years of professional experience in business intelligence and analysis work.
  • At least one year of experience in business planning, corporate development, consulting or M&A
  • Candidates must have at least 1 year of experience with a strategy consulting firm, a strategic planning/corporate strategy team, private equity/venture firm, or M&A.
  • Advanced proficiency in MS Excel for data manipulation, reporting and KPIs
  • BA/BS required; Master of Business Administration or equivalent experience a plus.
  • Experience in sales data visualization tools such as Salesforce Einstein Analytics and/or Tableau
  • Extensive experience conducting quantitative/ financial analysis and developing recommendations based on this analysis
  • Excellent strategic thinking, understanding of business research and analysis.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills necessary to build effective working relationships and positively influence decision making
