We have an exciting new opportunity for a position as an Enterprise Operations Centre Duty Manager. We are looking for candidates who demonstrate strong creative problem solving, attention to detail and customer service.

Working on one of our large Government client accounts, this role will coordinate Service Leads from across the Multi-Vendor Environment to ensure all system and infrastructure management of the services are monitored and reported on effectively.

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Monitoring the health of key services and systems for a large client organisation during your defined shift;
  • Establishing the immediate priorities of Service Management teams on a daily basis;
  • Engaging in continual improvement activities to support and improve the existing Event Management process;
  • Provide daily reports reflective of Operational, Business and Executive priorities and informational needs;
  • Facilitate conferences with required key business stakeholders;
  • Provide updates to Executive at set intervals and as production issues arise;
  • Provide a central point of contact for the client Executive team;
  • Participate and host a number of daily and weekly operational meetings;
  • Collaborate closely with both internal and external teams including but not limited to Incident Management, Change Management, Problem Management and Event Management teams.

Qualifications

About You and What You'll Bring

  • The ability to work self-sufficiently and proactively;
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to manage client expectations;
  • ITIL Foundation v3/v4 certified or demonstrates previous practical experience working in a mature ITIL environment;
  • Experience within a Service Management role including, but not limited to; Incident Management, Problem Management and Event Management;
  • Experience monitoring systems within a Government/Multi-Vendor
    Environment is ideal but not required;
  • Ability to work in a demanding environment with an enthusiastic sense of
    customer support;
  • Must be able to work shift work on a 24 x 7 rotating roster.

Additional Information

The mission of the Enterprise Operations Centre (EOC) is to provide an effective enterprise-wide ability to proactively monitor, respond and report on system and infrastructure health to key business, executive and operational stakeholders in real-time. It is led by the program's Duty Manager and actively contributed to by all Service Providers within the environment.
