Leidos is seeking a motivated Senior Network Engineer/Telecommunications Technician to join our team within the Dept. of Defence Tactical Data Link Bureau (TDLB). Tactical Data Link’s (TDL’s) underpin the integration of the Joint Force and are vital for ADF Operations as they connect sensors and weapon systems. The TDLB supports implementation of TDL functionality through the provision of specialist Engineering Advice and Test and Evaluation services.
As the Senior Network Engineer/ Telecommunications Technician, you will work within a mixed APS, Military and Industry team responsible for conformance to standards and interoperability testing of ADF TDL systems. The Senior Network Engineer/ Telecommunications Technician will take a supporting role in the planning, scheduling and conduct of TDL test activities.
Under direction, perform the following functions as individual assignments or as part of a team:
