Your New Role

This role is a key position in a new program of worksupporting the delivery of services to the customer. The mandate will be to manage SOE Image and Application Packaging Services solutions and support project work, primarily SCCM, MSI and MDT.Reporting into the COE Tower Lead, details of specific requirements include:

  • Devise new approaches to working, apply existing criteria in new manners and draw conclusions from comparative situations
  • Develop and revise software and system technical documentation
  • Make decisions on the assessment of tools and software products
  • Take a lead role in the pursuit of new business by identifying opportunities and participating in, or leading, tender responses
  • Lead mandated software reviews as required
  • Execute Full Spectrum Leadership imperatives
  • Comply with legislation and Company policies, processes and instructions, including those relating to non-discrimination, environment, safety, duty of care, and the quality management system
  • Plan, consult and monitor all project related activities to meet aggressive schedule
  • Gather, assess and create rollout plans based on stakeholder’s readiness and availability
  • Prepare for and participate in mandated engineering reviews, including review of subcontractor involvement
  • Participate in continuous quality improvement initiatives
  • Comply with legislation and company policies, processes and instructions, including those relating to non-discrimination, environment, safety, duty of care, and the quality management system
  • Display behaviours that reflect company values.

Qualifications

About You and What You'll Bring

Alongside your specialist working knowledge, leadership experience, strong communication, and collaboration skills, we're looking for the following:

  • Bachelor's Degree inInformation Technology, Computer Science or related discipline
  • Professional experience in the software lifecycle, to a documented process using standard methods and techniques/tools
  • Microsoft Windows 7 and 8 / XP, Microsoft SMS and Microsoft SCCM, Microsoft Deployment Toolkit (MDT), Microsoft Application Virtualisation, Microsoft Virtual PC/Virtual Server/Hyper-V
  • AppSense Application and Profile Manager
  • Virtualization platforms, ESXi, XenServer and Hyper-V 2008 / 2012
  • Admin Studio, SMSInstaller, InstallShield, vbscript and / or powershell scripting – MSI and EXE application packaging experience
  • Windows XP / 7 – Packaging for, and technical support experience with advanced knowledge of the Windows registry, file and folder security, local/domain user security, and operating system troubleshooting
  • TCP/IP, DNS, WINS, DHCP, VPN, IPSec, and thin/thick/web application architectures
  • Windows Server Active Directory – technical support experience with knowledge of OU structures, AD security, local and group policy, and various scripting languages including Visual Basic Scripting
  • SMS/SCCM administration with specialization in MDT integration, upgrades, and software deployments.

Due to the nature of work we do for our customers, all applicants are required to be Australian Citizens and to hold acurrentNV-1 or NV-2 security clearance with AGSVA.
