We are looking for a Certified Welder who will be responsible for applying appropriate welding processes to join, fabricate, and repair material to create a variety of parts. They will also be responsible to operate and maintain welding tools and equipment in a safe and accurate manner to achieve the quality and production standards of the company. The selected candidate must be competent in using potentially dangerous equipment following all safety precautions and will also have a steady hand and great attention to detail. Knowledge of different kinds of metal and their properties is essential.
Requirements:
Must commit to the project duration of 90 days
Must be a a current resident of Guam
Must be Certified
Proven experience as a Welder
Use hand-welding or flame-cutting equipment to weld or join metal components or to fill holes, indentations, or seams of fabricated metal products
Strong ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and blueprints.
Ability to fabricate moderately complex items with supervision
Excellent verbal and written skills
Must be open to a flexible schedule
Must be reliable
High School Diploma or Equivalent
