Help create a home away from home Are you an Experienced Security Officer with a customer service focus and a high level of attention to detail, if so, apply now! Sodexo is looking for Security Officer to work in our mine site at Gove, NT.This is residential role – you can either be in Gove and stay on site or relocate to Gove, with free housing provided working 2 weeks on, 1 week off roster for 10 hours night shift. This is a great opportunity for the right person with the right experience who excels in thinking outside the box to provide the highest level of service.What does a Security Officer do? Conducting regular foot or mobile patrols of transit housing - vacant and occupied properties. SPQ residential sector, village and town flatsProvide basic response for: fire/security alarms, anti-social behaviour, room lockouts and basic first aidMonitoring of critical infrastructure and personnelMonitor Digital Mobile Network system (DMR)Provide basic crowd controlCompiling periodical Security Audit Reports, as well as ad hoc reports as requiredCompile the daily occurrence/incident log and conduct appropriate handoverResponding to incidentsEnsure site integrity and safetyProvide a physical presence in order to deter disturbanceCompile periodical Security Audit Reports, as well as ad hoc reports as requiredUphold all Federal and state lawsWho are we looking for? To be successful in the role:Current Northern Territory Security LicenceCurrent First Aid Certificate or CPRCurrent Manual Driver’s License (unencumbered)National Police ClearanceBasic computer skillsGood report writing skillsObservant, confident, good problem solving skillsPhysically fit and reliableMost of all, what’s in it for you? This role can lead to many more opportunities for your future.
