Job Description

RPS has an exciting opportunity available for an Assistant Project Manager seconded to the Base Redevelopment Office (BRO) team on a fixed term contract until December 2021 initially, located at the RAAF Base Tindal located near Katherine NT in the role of a Base Administration Support. Reporting to the Base Redevelopment Officer, this position will assist and support the BRO team in coordinating infrastructure project works on the Base, enquiries and undertake administrative duties.

Qualifications

• Studying for or attained a Certificate IV in Project Management, Business / Finance, Construction / Engineering (desirable);
• 1 to 3 years of experience in the construction industry (desirable);
• Hold or be able to successfully obtain a minimum Australian Government Baseline Security Clearance;
• Excellent time management skills and attention to detail;
• Understanding of or ability to understand working in a Values Based Organisation (Air Force Values);
• Ability to work independently and in a team in a fast-paced work environment;
• Well-developed written and spoken communication skills;
• Ability to use Microsoft Office suite including Word, Excel, and Outlook;
• Ability to use Microsoft Project is not essential but would be desirable; and
• Residents of Katherine are highly desirable.
