Job Description

We have an opportunity to join ourbusiness as an Infrastructure Engineer. We have a number of projects and are seeking candidates with strong storage and midrange skills to join our team.Based in Canberra or Melbourne and working within the Engineering Services team, your role will ensure the provision of an effective IT Support service including:

• Storage network management
• Installation and configuration of storage and data protection software
• Creation of tools and processes for the management of storage and data protection environments
• Support and implement Windows based environments as well as VMWare & Citrix
• Tuning of system performance
• Overseeing escalations of storage and backup recovery incidents
• Makingrecommendations for purchases of hardware and software.

Your knowledge of Netpp Storage Technologies and and midrange servers will see you provide SME support and advice on projects, and resolve complex technical issues.

Qualifications

Coupled with your education and practical experience, you will demonstrate a pro-active approach with the ability to understand the business, identify issues and develop relationships to achieve the company’s objectives.You will also have:

• Bachelor in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related discipline
• Strong hands-on technical experience
• Netapp Storage Technologies & Management Tools
• Storage build activities & storage systems patching
• Commvault and Netbackup design, deployment and operation
• VMWare
• Citrix management and troubleshooting
