  • Benefits Management

Opportunities to deliver impact in this role include:

  • Drive improvements into the PMO program and ensure industry best practices are leveraged;
  • Perform team member supervision including performance management, career growth and development;
  • Ensure implementation of PMO concepts and Project Management standards;
  • Work with Project Managers and Program Team Leads to maintain a complete resource index for the program, which will form the basis of a shared resource pool for the master schedule, a workforce planning model, a program rate card and Program distribution lists;
  • Work with the extended leadership team to ensure all risks and issues are captured, assessed and managed appropriately to avoid or minimise impacts to both Leidos and the ATO. This may include coaching, facilitation of risk workshops, quality reviews, involvement in project planning and post implementation reviews, and maturity assessments;
  • Facilitate the project stage-gate review process, and coordinate project health checks and audits as required, providing recommendations for ongoing improvements to the PMO Analyst;
  • Work with the project manager and scheduler to ensure all inter-project dependencies are listed and linked in the master schedule in order to proactively manage dependencies and provide accurate delivery timelines;
  • Manage regular project and program reporting and change control by scrutinising and challenging project and program performance data, and ensuring changes are triggered as per agreed tolerances and change control process.
