We are looking for a hands-on, organized, mature, meticulous individual to direct receiving, warehousing and distribution operations in a busy, medium-sized company. You will oversee the efficient receipt, storage, value-adding servicing and dispatch of a wide variety of upscale gift merchandise.
Ultimately, you should be able to ensure productivity targets are achieved and that all warehouse processes are running smoothly and promptly.
Responsibilities:
Managing warehouse in compliance with companys policies and vision
Implementing receiving, warehousing, distribution and maintenance operations
Setting up layout and ensure efficient space utilization
Manage stock control and reconcile with data storage system
Requirements:
Proven work experience as a warehouse manager
Expertise in warehouse management procedures and best practices
Proven ability to implement process improvement initiatives
Hands on experience with warehouse management software and databases
Strong decision making and problem solving skills
Excellent communication skills
Stamina to lift 25 lbs regularly and up to 40 lbs occasionally
Computer literate
Ability to count and pull orders accurately
Computer literate
Tidy and able to maintain a clean warehouse
Able to function at work without personal cell phone
Health insurance, paid holidays, vacation.
Valid and clean VI drivers license
21 years or older
Verifiable local references
