ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Assemble pipe sections, tubing and fittings, using couplings, clamps, screws, bolts, cement, plastic solvents, caulking, soldering, brazing, Propressing, or welding equipment.

Fill pipes or plumbing fixtures with water or air and observe pressure gauges to detect and locate leaks.

Review blueprints, know building codes and review specifications to determine work details and procedures.

Locate and mark the position of pipe installations, connections, passage holes, and fixtures in structures, using measuring instruments such as rulers, lasers, and levels.

Measure, cut, thread, and bend pipe to required angles, using hand and power tools or machines such as pipe cutters, pipe-threading machines, and pipe-bending machines.

Install pipe assemblies, fittings, valves, water heaters, and fixtures such as, but not limited to sinks and toilets, using hand and power tools.

Cut openings in structures to accommodate pipes and pipe fittings, using hand and power tools.

Install underground storm, sanitary and water piping systems and extend piping to connect fixtures and plumbing to these systems.

Install oxygen and medical gas if licensed to do so.

Install plumbing inside, outside, on the floor level, below grade, and in the ceiling.

Other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS

Must always put SAFETY FIRST.

A minimum 2 years of experience.

Must have reliable transportation and willing to go to jobsites in the areas we work.

Must own all hand tools needed to perform as a plumber as described in WRN's tool list.

Must be a team player and take pride in all work.

Must be able to work overtime as required.
