The Licensed Land Surveyor reviews or provides work performed by Field Technicians and CAD Technicians. Provides boundary solutions, reviews and certifies written descriptions of land and completed survey maps that conform to the states technical standards and/or the ALTA Technical Standards and legal requirements.
Candidate should be able to conduct research, supervise and train field technicians and CAD technicians. Write legal descriptions, prepare and maintain maps, reports, verify the accuracy of field survey data and surveys in order to describe, certify, and assume liability for work performed.
Job Qualifications
-Must be a Licensed Surveyor, able and willing to become licensed in other states if necessary-Must have a degree in surveying or a survey related field-Proficiency with AutoCAD, GPS and robotic systems is required-Good computer skills-Strong Communication Skills-Ability to research survey related documents through public access and the internet-Work is composed of section breakdowns, metes and bounds, ALTA Commercial Surveys, Elevation Certificates, residential title surveys, lot surveys, topographic surveys, etc.-Must have valid, clean driver's license
