VMware Vsphere in a multi host clustered environment.
Linux System Administration in a multi-user networked environment
Domain Administration managing Active Directory, OU structures, Sites, Trusts, DHCP, DNS, and AD Certificate Services
Install, configure, optimize, and maintain Microsoft Windows Server, 2012, 2016 2019 including advanced knowledge of the Windows registry, file and folder security, and local/domain user security.
Azure Active directory and Office 365 management
Knowledge of Cisco router, and switch configuration.
A strong understanding of network infrastructure and network hardware.
Experience managing enterprise network storage devices including knowledge in common storage protocols. (NFS,iscsi, fibre channel, FCoE)
In-depth experience in Operations and Maintenance activities of IT infrastructure
Experience working with vendors to expedite installations and repairs to ensure maximum uptime and troubleshoot service issues.
Soft Skills Stuff:
Experience and troubleshooting skills to efficiently investigate and fix problems for enterprise-wide services and systems.
Ability to quickly learn new or unfamiliar technology and products using documentation and internet resources.
Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
A self-starter able to work independently but comfortable working in a team environment.
Demonstrated passion for technology and continued growth.
Nice to have but not required:
Certifications in networking, linux, vmware or microsoft. (excluding COMPTIA and other weak certs)
Experience with infrastructure as code automation tools such as ansible, chef, puppet.
Advanced knowledge in cloud services. Azure/AWS
Experience with container technologies. (Docker, Kubernetes, OpenShift)
