Direct hire Permanent FTE

This is a lead Developer position for someone who is a strong AWS Developer to transition software to AWS.

Support existing applications working with members of the QA, Product Management and Customer Care teams to troubleshoot and implement corrective actions.

This individual may also be assigned projects developing internal tools.

Responsibilities

• Works on assigned projects either independently or as a member of a team to fix bugs for support and deliver new functionality for software and other applications.
• Implements projects in a manner that adheres to department policies, standards and specifications.
• Performs unit testing to ensure the proper implementation and functioning of requirements.
• Participates in the technical design to ensure that business rules are properly identified and implemented.
• Participates in code reviews to develop and share knowledge learned from projects.
• Prepares deployment and implementation documentation as necessary to allow for the proper promotion and support of the functionality being delivered.
• Performs troubleshooting and resolves reported issues regarding the proper functioning of systems.
• Contributes to the success of projects by freely sharing knowledge and mentoring other team members.
• Interacts with team members, management and customers in a cooperative and professional manner by:

Qualifications

• Strong software Developer with experience in APIs and Lambdas
• CI/CD Pipelines, Strong Automation
• Understand core AWS services, uses, and basic AWS architecture best practices
• Experience with design and documentation
• Agile, Mentoring
